LUBBOCK, TX — Lubbock Animal Services announced several events lined up for the community in the next week.

Below is a list of the upcoming events:

  • April 11, 2025: Free microchipping for residents of The Scarlet Apartments
    Time: 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
    Location: 2202 Mac Davis Lane
     
  • April 12, 2025: Free microchipping and pet adoptions at Pet Supplies Plus
    Time: 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
    Location: 5715 82nd Street
     
  • April 18, 2025: Free pet adoptions at GolfSuites
    Time: 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
    Location: 6909 Marsha Sharp Freeway
     
  • April 19, 2025: Easter egg hunt for dogs (long-stay dogs)
    Time: 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
    Location: 3323 SE Loop 289
     

In addition to the events, LAS has also announced that they responded to 980 calls total as of the week of April 6, and 56 adoptions have been recorded.
