LUBBOCK, TX — The City of Lubbock and Lubbock Fire Rescue will host a grand opening ceremony for Fire Station 20, also known as the Eric Hill Memorial Station, on Tuesday, May 27.
The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the new facility, located at 3210 142nd Street.
The ceremony will feature comments from city officials and fire department leadership, followed by a ribbon cutting and guided tour of the station. The new station is designed to improve emergency response in the area and expand public safety coverage as the city continues to grow, says LFR.
The public is invited to attend.
