Rotary Club Donates Bikes to Reward LISD Students' Perfect Attendance

 

LUBBOCK, TX — The Rotary Club of Lubbock is donating bikes to Lubbock ISD elementary students with perfect attendance.

A random drawing held at each school awarded 56 bicycles, one for each boy and girl in the district’s 28 elementary campuses.

The bikes were delivered on Wednesday morning to campuses throughout the district. 

On Friday, May 23, the Rotary Club visited Smith Elementary School at 8707 Dover Avenue to present two bicycles during a school-wide assembly held at 9 a.m.
