Avenue N to Close for Crane Operations

LUBBOCK, TX — A section of Avenue N will be temporarily closed to traffic beginning Tuesday, June 17, to allow for crane operations in the area, according to the City of Lubbock.

Barricades Unlimited will shut down Avenue N between Main Street and Broadway Avenue as crews with Southwest Elevators carry out scheduled work.

The closure is expected to remain in place through Wednesday, June 18, weather permitting.

Drivers should find alternate routes, stay alert in construction zones, and allow extra travel time while the work is underway.
