LUBBOCK, TX — The Lubbock Public Library system will host a full slate of events from June 23-28 as part of its ongoing 2025 Summer Reading Program, offering educational and entertaining activities for children, teens and adults at all branch locations.
Headlining the week are multiple performances by Rick of Magic & Company, who will present his "Color Our World" magic show at four locations. The libraries will also feature crafts, book clubs, fitness sessions, and a wide range of literacy-focused programs including the Read, Lunch, & Learn series aimed at helping K-8 students combat the “summer slide.”
The Summer Reading Program, which runs through July 31, allows readers of all ages to track their progress on READsquared and earn prizes. More information is available at lubbocklibrary.com/summer-reading-2025.
