Joe Trevino Band to Perform at Buddy Holly Center’s Summer Showcase

LUBBOCK, TX — The Buddy Holly Center’s Summer Showcase Concert Series will continue Thursday, July 17, with a performance by the Joe Trevino Band.

Rooted in traditional country music, the Joe Trevino Band is led by singer-songwriter Joe Trevino, whose early passion for music led him to perform at the Nashville Palace, a venue known for launching the career of Randy Travis. Trevino has recorded original songs at Augie Meyers Studio in Bulverde, Texas, a studio made famous by the Texas Tornados.

The concert will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Meadows Courtyard. Admission is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Outside food is allowed, but outside beverages are prohibited after 5:15 p.m. Chairs, picnic blankets and similar items are not permitted inside the gates.

In addition to live music, guests may explore the Buddy Holly exhibitions and the Fine Arts Gallery free of charge during concert hours.

The Summer Showcase Concert Series runs every Thursday through Aug. 14 and is supported by community sponsors and donations. Sponsors for 2025 include H-E-B, Grand Central Station Antiques, FOX34 KJTV, KLZK Classical 105.7, South Plains Electric Cooperative, School of Rock, and several others.

The concert series is presented in partnership with Civic Lubbock, Inc. and the City of Lubbock.
