Lubbock Vital Statistics Office Temporarily Closes on Thursday

LUBBOCK, TX — The City of Lubbock Vital Statistics Office will close during lunch hours on Thursday, November 13, 2025, to allow for internal operations.

The office will close at 11:00 a.m. and reopen for regular business at 1:30 p.m. on that day. Residents in need of birth or death certificates during this time are encouraged to use the city’s online system to submit requests.
