LUBBOCK, TX – Texas Tech announced Thursday that its primary ticket inventory for the November 9 home game against Colorado at Jones AT&T Stadium has officially sold out. Fans still have the option to purchase tickets on the secondary market through Tech's official partner, SeatGeek. As of Thursday, September 5, 2024, prices on SeatGeek start at $134. Link to tickets.
This marks the second advance sellout for the Red Raiders this season. The team hosted a full crowd of 60,229 fans this past weekend, who witnessed Texas Tech’s thrilling overtime victory against Abilene Christian in their season opener. Additionally, Texas Tech sold out of season tickets for the second consecutive year earlier this summer.
For fans still hoping to attend the Colorado game, SeatGeek currently has fewer than 300 listings available. This matchup marks Colorado’s return to Jones AT&T Stadium as a Big 12 conference member.
Beyond the Colorado game, a limited number of tickets remain for Texas Tech’s next three home contests against North Texas, Arizona State, and Cincinnati. The Red Raiders are set to travel to Washington State this weekend before returning for three straight home games. They will face North Texas on September 14, Arizona State on September 21, and Cincinnati on September 28 to open Big 12 play.
Single-game tickets for the remaining five home games are still available through the Texas Tech Athletic Ticket Office. Fans can purchase tickets anytime online at TexasTech.com or by calling 806-742-TECH during business hours.
As a reminder, all football tickets are 100% mobile this season, including for premium seating areas. Texas Tech has introduced a new “tap and go” mobile ticketing system to ensure quick and efficient entry on gamedays. Screenshots of mobile tickets are no longer accepted, as QR codes have been removed. Instead, fans will simply place their downloaded tickets near scanners that will detect them wirelessly.
Kickoff for this Saturday’s game between Texas Tech and Washington State is set for 9 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast nationally on FOX, with additional coverage provided by the Texas Tech Sports Network.
