Please join us for the grand opening of Patriot Stadium at Liberty High School and the inaugural home football game of the Liberty Patriots on Friday, September 27! Pre-game festivities will include performances by the Patriot Regiment and Pirate Pride Bands, a special military presentation, and more!
Patriotism is a core value of Lubbock-Cooper ISD, and was the inspiration for the name and mascot of Liberty High School. We are immeasurably grateful for the men and women who have served our country, and it is important to our school family that we not only honor these individuals, but teach our students the importance of respecting and honoring their bravery and sacrifice, as well.
As part of our pre-game festivities, we would like to invite all United States veterans in and around our community to join us as honored guests for this special event! Veterans will have seating on the track during our pre-game presentation, and veterans (along with their families) will have seating in a special reserved section of our stands for the game.
If you are a veteran and can join us, please be sure to complete the form linked below! This will help us determine the amount of seating needed, and also help us provide our honored guests with a special token of our appreciation.
Lubbock-Cooper Liberty is in the midst of their inaugural varsity football season. The Patriots currently sport an 0-2 record, but both games have been lost by a combined seven points. Liberty opens the season with four straight road games as Patriot's Stadium was not complete when the football season began.
Liberty hits the road this weekend to play play Monahans on Friday, September 13. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
