LUBBOCK, TX – After a perfect 3-0-0 road stretch and riding a four-match winning streak, Texas Tech Soccer returns to John Walker Soccer Complex on Friday to kick off a three-match homestand against Baylor.
The Red Raiders (9-2-1, 4-0-1 Big 12) enter the week tied atop the Big 12 standings with Colorado and West Virginia, and they carry a remarkable 22-match Big 12 unbeaten streak as well as an 18-match home winning streak.
The Red Raiders have been dominant this season, boasting a +23 goal differential (31-8) and an impressive +57 goal differential (76-19) dating back to 2023. Friday's match marks their first at home since a Sept. 19 win over Utah and will feature special giveaways and activities for fans, including a Kids Night sponsored by Raising Cane's.

The Red Raiders capped a demanding three-match road trip with a 2-0 victory over Houston on Sunday. Taylor Zdrojewski opened the scoring just 38 seconds into the second half with a powerful strike, followed by a goal from freshman Peyton Dyess two minutes later. Dyess' goal was her first career score, making her the 12th Red Raider to score this season.
Goalkeeper Faith Nguyen made a career-high six saves, securing her sixth clean sheet of the season. With her performance, Nguyen climbed into a tie for ninth all-time in career shutouts at Texas Tech. The Red Raiders' dominant second-half performance continues, as they have now outscored opponents 16-1 after halftime this season.
Texas Tech’s win vaulted them to the top of the Big 12 standings with 13 points, tied with Colorado and West Virginia, and two points clear of fourth-place TCU. The Red Raiders have also maintained their Big 12-best goal differential of +7 in conference play, outscoring opponents 8-1 in their five Big 12 matches.
