LUBBOCK, TX — The Texas Tech women's golf team is gearing up for the 2024 Jim West Challenge, held from October 20-21 at Kissing Tree Golf Club in San Marcos, Texas. The two-day event, hosted by Texas State, will feature 12 teams and consist of 54 holes of stroke play, beginning with 36 holes on Sunday and concluding with the final round on Monday.
Lineup and Key Players:
- Maja Ambroziak leads the lineup with five rounds under par this season and a 73.3 scoring average.
- Kylee Loewe, Klara Hurtova, Danique Stokmans, and Lauren Zaretsky round out the main team, while Claudia Alnajim competes as an individual.
- Lauren Zaretsky has been a standout performer, leading the Red Raiders with a 72.5 scoring average.
- Klara Hurtova's 5-under-par 67 at the Red Raider Invitational marks the team's lowest individual round this season.
