LUBBOCK, TX – The Big 12 Conference has announced a 2:30 p.m. kickoff for Texas Tech’s upcoming game against undefeated Iowa State on Nov. 2 at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa. The game will be televised on ESPN.
The matchup could prove crucial for Big 12 standings, with Texas Tech (5-2, 3-1 Big 12) aiming to strengthen its conference position. The Red Raiders are set to face TCU on the road this Saturday before traveling to Ames. Meanwhile, the Cyclones, sporting a 7-0 overall record and 4-0 in conference play, have a bye this weekend.
Texas Tech leads the all-time series against Iowa State 13-8, with victories in the last two meetings. The Red Raiders secured bowl eligibility with those wins, including a memorable 62-yard field goal by Jonathan Garibay in 2021 and a 14-10 victory in 2022. The teams did not meet last year due to the Big 12's temporary 14-team format.
