Texas Tech Soccer Welcomes Seven New Signees for 2024 NSD

LUBBOCK, TX — Texas Tech Soccer and Head Coach Tom Stone announced the signing of seven new players on Wednesday, adding talent from four states to the Red Raiders’ 2024 roster. Highlighted by three standout Texans, the incoming class includes four midfielders, a goalkeeper, a forward, and a defender, representing Texas, Colorado, Florida, and Oklahoma.

The first addition is Kaydee Amorosa, a midfielder from Houston, Texas. Amorosa joins Texas Tech from St. Agnes Academy and brings an impressive record, including First Team All-State honors and an ECNL First Team All-Conference selection while playing for Albion Hurricanes FC.

Next, Raleigh Greason, a midfielder from Arvada, Colorado, continues Tech’s strong connection with Real Colorado. Greason, an ECNL All-American and two-time Jeffco Class 5A MVP, has scored 36 goals and made 10 assists in her high school career at Ralston Valley, adding further depth to Tech's midfield.

Florida native Gianna Gregoire will also head to Lubbock next year. The midfielder, who played for the West Florida Flames and North Port High School, has tallied 10 goals and 13 assists in high school and adds a versatile playmaker to Tech’s roster.

Goalkeeper Rylie Kuyper from Madisonville, Louisiana, strengthens the defensive unit. A four-time All-State honoree and the 2023-24 Louisiana Defensive Player of the Year, Kuyper has excelled with LA TDP and at Northlake Christian School.

Oklahoma’s Layney Molini, a forward from Owasso, brings an impressive offensive record, with nearly 140 career goals and 68 assists across high school and club play. Molini led her team to the 2024 Oklahoma Class 4A State Title and was named Tulsa World Player of the Year.

The Red Raiders also add Frisco’s Lauren Smith, a defender who captained her Sting Black team and scored 10 goals in high school. She follows her mother, Melinda, who played soccer for Texas Tech.

Finally, Emma Torres, a forward from Austin, Texas, rounds out the class. Torres was the District-25 Class 6A Utility Player of the Year at Cedar Ridge and scored 27 goals during her 2022-23 club season with Sting Austin.
