LCU Track and Field Secures First Provisional Marks at Red Raider Invite

 

LUBBOCK, TX – Lubbock Christian University continued its 2025 indoor season at the Red Raider Invite, hosted by Texas Tech University at the Sports Performance Center, securing two provisional marks in the 4x400-meter relay events.

Women's Highlights

  • The 4x400-meter relay team of former Lubbock High School Westerner Elizabeth Florez, Frenship High School Graduate Jozlyn Arana, Joy Egwu, and Anna Salisbury recorded LCU’s first provisional mark of the season, finishing with a time of 3:49.44.

  • Egwu placed 20th in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.81, narrowly missing the provisional mark.

  • Salisbury finished sixth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 56.84, just 0.2 seconds shy of a provisional mark, and also placed 28th in the 200-meter dash (25.94).

  • Florez (57.33) and Arana (57.37) took ninth and tenth in the 400-meter dash.

  • Anne-Lie Waite finished 26th in the 200-meter dash, clocking 25.82.

Men’s Highlights

  • The 4x400-meter relay team of Que Fields, Reuel Campbell, Chris Moffett, and Daniel Sianez secured LCU’s second provisional mark, finishing at 3:13.11.

  • Campbell (47.57) and Moffett (48.26) claimed LCU’s first individual provisional marks of the season, finishing fourth and seventh in the 400-meter dash.

  • Sianez (49.22) and Fields (49.33) placed 13th and 14th, respectively, while freshman Aden Soto (49.37) finished 15th in the same event.

  • Evaldo Whitehorne rounded out the Chaparrals’ 400-meter competitors, placing 18th with a time of 50.24.
