LUBBOCK, TX — Wednesday, February 5, marked National Signing Day for all prospective student-athletes in high school looking to further their academic and athletic careers at the next level. At Estacado High School, three student-athletes received such an opportunity.
Head Football Coach Eric Ward stood before a gathered crowd filled with students, friends, and family to introduce and congratulate three of his football players for receiving offers from three different universities.

Those who signed on Wednesday included Le'Darius Hall, Devin Harris, and Xavier Lucio.
Le'Darrius Hall - Football - Hardin-Simmons University
Devin Harris - Football - Wayland Baptist University
Xavier Lucio - Football - Bethel College
The District Champion Estacado Matadors had a fantastic season in Ward's first in his head coaching tenure at Estacado. One of the Matadors' most talented players, Bobby Ross, also received several offers but has yet to make a final decision on where he will play his college ball.
