LUBBOCK, TX — Texas Tech secured both the men’s and women’s titles at the 2025 Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championships after two days of competition at the Sports Performance Center over the weekend.
The Red Raider men became just the second program in Big 12 history to win three consecutive titles, finishing with 130 points across 19 events. The Texas Tech women tallied 113.5 points to claim their first-ever Big 12 indoor title. Both teams were the only ones to surpass 100 points in the competition.
TCU’s Indya Mayberry earned the Women’s High Point Scorer award with 20 points, while Arizona’s Zach Landa and Texas Tech’s Malachi Snow shared the Men’s High Point Scorer honor with 18 points each.

Men’s Championship Recap
Texas Tech’s Malachi Snow claimed gold in the men’s 60-meter hurdles, tying the meet record at 7.52 seconds. He later finished second in the 60-meter dash to secure his share of the high point scorer award.
Women’s Championship Recap
Texas Tech’s Naomi Krebs opened Saturday’s events by winning the 60-meter hurdles (7.96). Tamiah Washington followed with a victory in the triple jump (13.50 meters), while Fanny Arendt secured the program’s first 800-meter title since 2010 (2:02.34). Temitope Adeshina defended her high jump title in a jump-off after matching last year’s winning height of 1.90 meters.
Texas Tech athletes now turn their attention to the 2025 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships, scheduled for March 14-15 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia. The full list of meet participants will be announced on March 4 at NCAA.com.
