IRVING, TX — The Big 12 Conference has announced entertainment and fan experience enhancements for the 2025 Big 12 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships, set to take place at Kansas City’s T-Mobile Center beginning this weekend, March 8.
The conference’s first major enhancement includes the debut of the "XII Court", a new basketball court design created in partnership with global sportswear brand UNDEFEATED. The court will incorporate UNDEFEATED’s iconic 5-strike logo on the floor.
Throughout the championships, the Kansas City Live! stage will feature a several different musical performers, including Shaq as "DJ Diesel."
- March 8: Switch
- March 9: DJ Code P
- March 12: Champagne
- March 13: Montage
- March 14: Charly Jordan (following the final game of the day)
- March 15: DJ Diesel (Shaquille O’Neal) following the Men’s Championship game
Additional entertainment includes pep bands from Big 12 schools, Dylan Wheeler and Randall King at PBR Big Sky (March 6-7), and Cheat Codes at Mosaic (March 14).
National anthem performances will also highlight both championship games. Abby Anderson will perform prior to the Women’s Championship, while Restless Road will sing before the Men’s Championship.
The 2025 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship will introduce the conference’s first All-Access Pass, providing premium seating with guaranteed seat locations through 2031 and access to all men’s tournament games. Pass holders will also have entry to four premium clubs and lounge spaces, including the new Founders Club, which features prime sideline seating within the first 15 rows of the lower bowl.
The conference is also revamping its Big 12 BLVD Fan Fest, which will run each afternoon until 7 p.m. (except on March 5 and March 10). The event will feature new community partnerships, including TOGETHXR and Hoop Bus.
The Big 12 Eats initiative will once again offer school-themed menu items for all 16 member institutions, presented by Undeniably Dairy. Fans can enjoy:
