LUBBOCK, TX — The Texas Tech men’s basketball program will host a Selection Sunday Watch Party at 4 p.m. on Sunday at United Supermarkets Arena, inviting fans to join in celebrating the Red Raiders’ historic season.
The event is free and open to the public, with the first 100 fans receiving a free shirt. Following the NCAA Tournament selection show, players will be available for autographs, and fans will hear from head coach Grant McCasland and members of the team.
Doors will open at 4 p.m., with entry through the Northwest and Southwest entrances. Concessions will be available, along with kid-friendly activities such as face painting and balloon twisting.
Currently ranked No. 9 in the nation, Texas Tech is preparing for its 21st NCAA Tournament appearance. The Red Raiders have made deep runs in recent years, reaching the Elite Eight in 2018, the NCAA Championship Final in 2019, and the Sweet 16 in 2022.
Texas Tech is also competing in the Phillips 66 Men’s Basketball Championship this week, with its quarterfinal matchup set for 6 p.m. Thursday at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City. The Red Raiders will face either Arizona State, Kansas State, or Baylor.
