LUBBOCK, TX – Texas Tech head coach Grant McCasland announced the signing of guard Tyeree Bryan on Wednesday, adding a seasoned sharpshooter to the Red Raiders' roster for the 2025-26 season.
Bryan, a 6-foot-5 product from Orlando, Florida, will arrive in Lubbock with one year of eligibility remaining after stops at Santa Clara, Charleston Southern, and Indian River State College. Over 93 NCAA games, Bryan has totaled 900 points and hit 144 3-pointers at a 41.6% clip.
Bryan averaged 10.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.1 steals, and 2.06 made 3-pointers per game last season for Santa Clara. His standout performance came in a 35-point effort against Gonzaga where he shot 13-of-21 from the field and 7-of-12 from 3-point range, while also contributing seven rebounds and four assists. He also delivered five 3-pointers against UC Riverside in the NIT.
In 2024, Bryan appeared in 32 games with 25 starts, finishing the season 66-of-154 from beyond the arc (42.9%) and recording 16 double-figure scoring games. Over two seasons at Santa Clara, he posted averages of 9.3 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.
As a freshman at Charleston Southern, Bryan averaged 10.5 points and 5.5 rebounds, shooting 42.1% from three-point range. His college career began at Indian River State College, where he put up 12.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.

Bryan becomes the first addition to Tech's 2025 signing class following the Red Raiders’ run to the Elite 8 and a 28-9 overall record. Texas Tech tied its best NCAA Tournament seed in program history at No. 3, and has gone 51-20 over the past two seasons under McCasland with consecutive tournament appearances.
