LUBBOCK, TX — Texas Tech claimed both of the Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week honors with Oskar Edlund (men’s) and Temitope Adeshina (women’s) for their performances at Texas A&M’s 44 Farms Invitational.
Edlund won the men’s 400-meter hurdles during his first competition since January. The senior crossed the finish line at 50.18 seconds to place atop the Big 12 outdoor performance list this season. Earning the sixth fastest time in the NCAA this season, this is the Stockholm, Sweden native’s first Big 12 weekly honor.
