Four Red Raiders Earn Big 12 Baseball All-Conference Honors

IRVING, TX — Texas Tech outfielder Logan Hughes, the Big 12’s home run leader, headlined a group of four Red Raiders named to the 2025 Big 12 Baseball All-Conference teams, the league announced Tuesday.

Hughes and fellow outfielder Damian Bravo were selected to the All-Big 12 First Team, while first baseman Robin Villeneuve and pitcher Jack Cebert earned spots on the Second Team.

The multiple First Team honorees mark the fourth time in five seasons that Texas Tech has placed at least two players on the league’s top squad, and the 10th time in the last 11 seasons the program has produced multiple First Team selections. The Red Raiders have had at least one player on the All-Big 12 First or Second Team every year since 2003.

Logan Hughes – First Team

A sophomore transfer from Stetson, Hughes led the Big 12 with 19 home runs and finished the regular season hitting .333 with 58 RBIs, 13 doubles, and four triples. He topped the league in Big 12-only games with 11 home runs, 23 extra-base hits, 95 total bases, a .760 slugging percentage, and was second in OPS (1.196). He also ranked third in hits (47) and 10th in RBIs (30) in league play.

Damian Bravo – First Team

Bravo, who was an Honorable Mention in 2024, posted a .336 average with a career-best 13 home runs and 51 RBIs. He hit .378 in Big 12 contests, ranking fifth in average and second in hits (48). He added nine homers and 86 total bases in conference play, joining Hughes as the only players in the league with 40+ hits, 30+ RBIs, and 9+ homers in Big 12 games.

Robin Villeneuve – Second Team

Villeneuve led the Red Raiders with a .362 batting average and posted 11 home runs and 47 RBIs. He also led the team in doubles (17), walks (26), and on-base percentage (.446). In Big 12 play, he batted .342 with six homers and 24 RBIs.

Jack Cebert – Second Team

In his first Big 12 season after transferring from South Florida, Cebert emerged as one of the top bullpen arms in the conference. He went 7-1 with a 2.58 ERA in Big 12 play across 13 appearances, throwing 45.1 innings — the most by a reliever without a start in conference action. His seven overall wins were the most by a Red Raider reliever since 2018.
