LUBBOCK, TX — Texas Tech’s 2025 football season opener against Arkansas-Pine Bluff has officially sold out, the university announced Thursday, marking the third consecutive year the Red Raiders will open their home schedule in front of a packed Jones AT&T Stadium.
Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Saturday and will be broadcast on ESPN+ and the Texas Tech Sports Network.
More than 60,000 fans are expected to attend the opener, which is the first of two advanced sellouts already on the schedule. Texas Tech has also sold out its Oct. 25 home matchup against Oklahoma State, exhausting its primary ticket inventory for both games.
Though the university has no remaining primary tickets, fans can still purchase seats through SeatGeek, the official secondary ticket provider of Texas Tech Athletics.
The continued sellout streak under head coach Joey McGuire follows the sellout of season tickets for the third year in a row. Limited single-game tickets remain for the Sept. 6 home contest against Kent State.
Festivities will begin at 2:30 p.m. with the opening of Raider Alley, followed by the Raider Walk at 4 p.m. and a 4:30 p.m. concert by Texas Tech alumnus Pat Green as part of the Raider Alley Concert Series.
