City of Lubbock Seeks Volunteers for 17th Annual Pumpkin Trail

LUBBOCK, TX — The 17th annual Pumpkin Trail will return to the Lubbock Memorial Arboretum from Oct. 16–19.

Hosted by the City of Lubbock Parks and Recreation Department, the event is expected to welcome more than 20,000 attendees and features illuminated trails lined with thousands of carved pumpkins and fall-themed displays.

Organizers are currently seeking local businesses, organizations, and individuals to serve as display hosts and event sponsors. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their names and decorations along the trail, offering community exposure while contributing to a seasonal, family-friendly event.

Volunteers are also needed to assist with setup, guiding guests, and general event support. This opportunity is ideal for student organizations, school clubs, classes, and youth groups looking to engage in public service.

For more information on becoming a sponsor, display host, or volunteer, contact Ruth Perkins at [email protected] or call 806-775-2670.
