Two Vehicle Crash in West Lubbock Sends One to the Hospital

 

LUBBOCK, TX — The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call regarding a two-vehicle accident on Tuesday morning.

At approximately 10:58 a.m. on Aug. 27, 2024, deputies were dispatched to 15704 FM 179 following reports of a collision with possible injuries.

Upon arrival, deputies found a passenger vehicle and a Ford F-250 involved in the accident. The southbound lanes of FM 179 were closed to traffic.

Wolfforth Fire and the Texas Department of Public Safety also responded to assist at the scene.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was transported by EMS to University Medical Center with injuries of an unknown severity.

The accident remains under investigation.
