LUBBOCK, Texas—Texas Tech will open the 2024 season in front of a capacity crowd Saturday evening when the Red Raiders host Abilene Christian inside Jones AT&T Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 6:30 p.m., and television coverage will be provided nationally via ESPN+.
The streaming service is available via the ESPN app on most major mobile and connected TV platforms, including iPhone, iPad, AppleTV, Android devices, Roku, Chromecast, FireTV, Xbox One, PlayStation, and Samsung-connected TVs. It is also available via ESPN.com/watch on the web.
ESPN+ will offer numerous Texas Tech sporting events annually, including any Red Raider football game broadcast on an ESPN platform or ABC. Fans can also expect several Texas Tech men’s and women’s basketball games to appear on ESPN+ each year and the bulk of baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, and track and field events, both home and away. In addition to the Big 12 Conference, ESPN+ also broadcasts thousands of live events from across the NCAA and professional leagues.
ESPN+ is available for only $10.99 a month and can be canceled at any time. It can also be bundled with both Hulu and Disney+ for only $14.99 a month. Fans can create their own ESPN+ account here or by utilizing any streaming device on their smart TV.
Texas Tech’s other two non-conference contests will both appear on FOX networks and will not be available via ESPN+. Television and game time selections for all nine Big 12 contests will be announced via either a 12 or six-day window by the conference office.
