LUBBOCK, TX — The Lubbock Independent School District will host its annual 2024 Lubbock Invitational Cross Country Meet on Saturday, September 7, at Mae Simmons Park. Several teams around the Lubbock area and the Concho Valley will be in attendance and should make for an excellent day of competition.
The Lubbock Invitational hosts Boys and Girls divisions from 1A all the way to 6A. All the boys divisions will run a 5K while 1A-4A girls will compete in a 2 mile. The 5A and 6A girls will also run a 5K. All junior varsity girls will be allowed to compete in either a 2-mile or a 5K.
The meet kicks off with the 1A Girls Divison at 9 a.m. and will run through Saturday, with the 6A Boys finishing the races up at 3:30 p.m. Check out the full schedule below:
