Lyndale Acres Code Sweep: Violations and Disposal Help

LUBBOCK, TX – The Code Administration Department will conduct a field exercise in the Lyndale Acres neighborhood on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Inspectors will focus their efforts within the area bounded by Avenue Q, 50th Street, and Avenue A, according to a press release.

The goal of the exercise is to identify violations related to junked vehicles, nuisance weeds and rubbish, substandard housing, and zoning issues.

During this time, code inspectors will engage with residents about city ordinances, issue citations, and address violations as needed.

A field office will be established at 5401 Ave J, in the Dixie Little League parking lot.

Additionally, Solid Waste will provide a roll-off dumpster at this location for residents to dispose of large unwanted items like furniture, appliances, and tree branches.
