LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech announced on Monday that its home game against Cincinnati on September 28 has reached a third advanced sellout of the season. All primary ticket inventory for the matchup at Jones AT&T Stadium has been sold out, highlighting the strong support from Red Raider fans, according to a press release.
The Cincinnati game will wrap up a three-game homestand for the Red Raiders, which begins this Saturday with a matchup against North Texas, followed by a Big 12 opener against Arizona State on September 21. Tickets for both of these games are still available, though inventory is limited.
In addition to the Cincinnati game, Texas Tech has already sold out the opener against Abilene Christian and anticipates another sellout on November 9 when Colorado visits. Last week, the university announced that the game against the Buffaloes has also reached sellout status.
For those still seeking tickets to the Cincinnati game, less than 300 listings are available through SeatGeek, the official secondary ticket provider of Texas Tech Athletics. Single-game tickets for Texas Tech's remaining four home games are available through the Athletic Ticket Office and can be purchased online at TexasTech.com or by calling 806-742-TECH.
This season, all football tickets are exclusively mobile, including those in premium areas. Texas Tech has introduced a new “tap and go” mobile ticketing system to streamline entry on game days. Note that screenshots of mobile tickets will no longer be accepted, as QR codes have been removed. Fans should use their downloaded mobile tickets at the stadium scanners for entry.
Kickoff for this Saturday’s game against North Texas is set for 11 a.m. CT, with national television coverage on FOX Sports 1 and local coverage through the Texas Tech Sports Network.
