Streamlined Stadium Entry with New "Tap and Go" System

Texas Tech has introduced a new "tap and go" mobile ticketing system to speed up entry into the stadium. Fans will now simply place their downloaded mobile tickets near scanners for wireless entry. Screenshots of mobile tickets will no longer be accepted. Fans can transfer tickets digitally through their Texas Tech accounts or the official Texas Tech mobile app.

New Stadium Entry Gates

Three new entry gates are available this season, located in the South End Zone Building. Gates 8 and 10 are for general access, while Gate 9 is reserved for premium seating in the South End Zone. The expanded concourse in the new building also provides 360-degree access to the stadium.

Ring of Honor Ceremony at Halftime

Texas Tech will induct three new members into its prestigious Ring of Honor this Saturday: Thomas Howard, Andrew Tillman, and Wes Welker. The ceremony will occur at halftime following a performance by the Goin’ Band from Raiderland, and the names and jersey numbers of the inductees will be unveiled on the West Stadium Building.

Heat Management Stations

With temperatures expected to exceed 90 degrees, fans are encouraged to stay hydrated. They are allowed to bring one unopened 20-ounce bottle of water into the stadium, and heat management stations equipped with cold towels, circulating fans, and sunscreen will be available throughout the concourse.

Raider Alley and Pregame Festivities

Raider Alley opens four hours before kickoff, offering entertainment for fans of all ages. Country artist Conner Smith will headline the Raider Alley stage at 9 a.m., following Raider Walk, where fans can greet the Red Raiders as they enter the stadium at around 8:45 a.m.

Concessions and Stadium Amenities

Texas Tech has added new concession options this season, including Big Chicken, founded by Shaquille O'Neal. Fans can also utilize the StadiumDrop app for in-seat concession delivery. The stadium remains fully cashless, accepting only credit, debit, and contactless payments.

Clear Bag Policy and Re-Entry Rules

The clear bag policy remains in effect, allowing clear bags up to 12" x 6" x 12" or small clutch bags. Medically necessary items will be inspected and tagged. Re-entry into the stadium is prohibited, so fans must have a new ticket to re-enter.
