LUBBOCK, TX — On Saturday, October 5, 2024, Llano Estacado Winery will host an exciting Halloween-themed 5k race, inviting people to enjoy fitness and fine wine in a West Texas setting.
Celebrated as Texas's largest and best-selling premium winery since its establishment in 1976, Llano Estacado has built a reputation for producing exceptional wines that highlight the region's unique terroir. According to their website, this event showcases the winery’s stunning landscape and celebrates the quality of Texas vintages.
The Llano Esacado Wine Run offers a timed 5K run/walk, making it accessible for individuals of all fitness levels. Timing and scoring will be managed by J3 Timing, with results available online at www.J3Timing.com.
Registration is now open for all ages for $45, but will increase to $60 after October 4th. To register, click here.

The event will kick off at 9 a.m. and feature age group awards, with the top three male and female finishers in each age category receiving custom awards. Age categories include 1-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 & over.
Proceeds from this event will support Feeding America and St. Jude Children's Hospital.
