Missing 7-Year-Old Found in Lubbock

UPDATE: Ava Marie Sturtevant has been located and is safe.

LUBBOCK, TX — The Lubbock Police Department is urgently seeking the public’s help in locating 7-year-old Ava Marie Sturtevant, who was reported missing this morning. Ava was last seen in the 2400 block of 144th Street.

Authorities describe Ava as wearing a gray sweatshirt, a light blue skirt or dress, and black sneakers at the time of her disappearance. Her family and friends are deeply concerned for her safety and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

The Lubbock Police have activated search efforts in the area and are looking around local neighborhoods. They are asking residents to check their properties, including garages and sheds, for any sign of Ava.
