LFR Seeks Public Help in Dumpster Fire Investigation

 

LUBBOCK, TX — The Lubbock Fire Rescue Fire Marshal’s Office is asking for assistance in locating a suspect linked to multiple dumpster fires in Central Lubbock.

According to a press release from LFR, firefighters responded to four dumpster fires within one hour on Saturday, September 26. Investigators believe that these incidents are connected and involve the same suspect.

The fires occurred at the following locations and times:

  • 1715 22nd Street at 12:55 a.m.
  • 3500 Avenue P at 1:22 a.m.
  • 3300 Avenue P at 1:48 a.m.
  • 1715 22nd Street at 1:51 a.m.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents is urged to contact the Fire Marshal’s Office at 806-775-2646.
