LUBBOCK, TX — Dillard’s is excited to announce the grand opening of its new store at South Plains Mall, located on the former Sears property. According to a press release, the 220,000-square-foot store showcases the latest retail design and offers a wide range of premium brands tailored to local shoppers' tastes. Dillard’s has served the Lubbock community since 1972.
The store features brands like Eileen Fisher and Trina Turk alongside newcomers like J. McLaughlin and Lilly Pulitzer. Luxury beauty offerings include Chanel and Dior and new additions like La Mer and Yves Saint Laurent.

- Wednesday, October 9 at 6:30 PM – Premier Night
An exclusive evening benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation, featuring a red-carpet fashion show hosted by Miss Texas. Tickets are $50 and redeemable for Dillard’s merchandise. Sales on the night will donate 10% to Make-A-Wish. - Thursday, October 10 at 10:30 AM – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Join local officials and Dillard’s management to celebrate the official opening. The first 200 guests receive a swag bag with a mystery gift card. Guests can register for a chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree. - Thursday, October 10, starting at 11:30 AM
A fashion and beauty Q&A with Miss Teen Texas and brand ambassadors from luxury beauty lines. Personal consultations with makeup artist Jeff Roose will be available. - Friday, October 11, starting at 12:00 PM
Men’s fashion presentations throughout the afternoon, culminating in a fashion show at 6 PM. Demos in the home store will prepare shoppers for the holiday season. - Saturday, October 12, starting at 11:00 AM
Family-friendly activities include visits from princesses and superheroes and a kids’ fashion show at 2 PM.
