Hobbs Police is Asking for Help Finding Wanted Woman

HOBBS, NM — The Hobbs Police Department is asking for the public's help locating Alexis Saenz, 21, who is wanted following a violation of her release conditions related to a serious criminal case.

According to a social media post from the Hobbs PD, Saenz was arrested in November 2023 and charged with Homicide by Vehicle in connection with the death of 19-year-old Adeja Baca. After being released earlier this year under strict conditions that included GPS monitoring, Saenz failed to appear for a scheduled hearing regarding violations of those conditions on October 4th.

The post states she removed her GPS monitoring device and is now subject to an outstanding bench warrant issued by the 5th Judicial District Court.

She is described as 5’ 3”, weighing 118 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.

The Hobbs Police Department’s post urges anyone with information on Alexis Saenz's location to contact Detectives at (575) 397-9265. Tips can be reported to Lea County Crime Stoppers at (575) 393-8005, where callers may be eligible for a cash reward for any helpful information.
