LUBBOCK, TX— Texas Tech's Homecoming game against Baylor on Saturday, October 19, has officially sold out, marking the fourth advance sellout of the season for the Red Raiders. Homecoming is set to take place at Jones AT&T Stadium at 3 p.m.
The Red Raiders previously sold out their season opener on Aug. 31 against Abilene Christian and the Sept. 28 matchup against Cincinnati. The Nov. 9 game versus Colorado has also reached sellout status. Texas Tech is averaging 59,280 fans per game this season, the second-highest attendance in the Big 12 Conference.
For fans still seeking tickets, SeatGeek, the official secondary ticket marketplace for Texas Tech Athletics, had fewer than 400 tickets remaining as of Monday morning. Seats are available on both the east and west sides of the stadium.
Tickets for Texas Tech’s final home game of the season on Nov. 30 against West Virginia are still on sale and can be purchased via the university’s athletics website or by calling the Athletic Ticket Office.
This season, Texas Tech has implemented a mobile-only ticketing system, featuring a "tap and go" process for streamlined entry on game days. QR codes have been removed from all mobile tickets, and screenshots will no longer be accepted.
The Homecoming game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2 and the Texas Tech Sports Network.
