Pavement Replacement Begins on North Overton Streets

 

LUBBOCK, TX — Starting Monday, October 21st, West Infrastructure Construction LLC will begin the second phase of pavement replacement on North Overton Streets as part of a contract with the City of Lubbock.

According to a press release, this phase will result in the complete closure of Avenue R, from Glenna Goodacre Blvd to Mac Davis Lane, and Mac Davis Lane, from Avenue T to Avenue V.

Motorists are advised to find alternate routes, as signage and barricades will be set up around the work zone. Weather permitting, the construction is expected to last approximately three weeks.

The release states that citizens can contact the Streets Department at 806-775-2608 for any questions or concerns.
