Lubbock Police Search for Walmart Theft Suspects

 

LUBBOCK, TX — The Lubbock Police Department is asking for help identifying two suspects involved in a September theft and assault at the Walmart on South Loop 289.

According to a post on Facebook, on September 25, around 7:30 p.m., police were called to the Walmart in the 4200 block of South Loop 289 for a theft in progress. A Hispanic female and a black male were accused of stealing multiple items from the store. As the female suspect left the store, she allegedly threatened someone in the parking lot with a brick when being confronted.

Suspect Descriptions:

  • Female Suspect: 5'3" to 5'5", about 140 pounds, with a tattoo on her left forearm.
  • Male Suspect: About 5'6", 150 pounds.

The release stated at least one of the suspects fled in a mid-2000s tan Mercury sedan.

Anyone with information about the suspects or their whereabouts is asked to call Crime Line at (806) 741-1000. Tips leading to an arrest could be eligible for a reward.

Lubbock Police Department advises the public not to approach the suspects and to let authorities handle the situation.
