Lubbock Fire Rescue Responds to a Blaze on Duke St.

 

LUBBOCK, TX — Lubbock Fire Rescue was called to a structure fire in the 5700 block of Duke Street at approximately 2:45 p.m. today. Engine 13 arrived to find a fire in a single-story home.

According to a post on Facebook, firefighters entered the building and found an adult victim trying to escape. The victim was safely removed and taken to the hospital by UMC EMS.

The fire was quickly put out, and no other injuries were reported.

Lubbock Fire Rescue’s Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
