City of Lubbock to Address Harwell Code Violations

LUBBOCK, TX — The City of Lubbock’s Code Administration Department will conduct a neighborhood deployment in the Harwell area on Wednesday, January 8, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The deployment will cover the area bounded by Avenue A, 50th Street, I-27, and 34th Street. A field office will be set up at 108 40th Street, where residents in the neighborhood can get more information.

A roll-off container will also be available at this location for people to drop off bulky items they need to get rid of.

According to the City of Lubbock, this deployment will help fix issues such as junk vehicles, overgrown weeds, rubbish, substandard housing, and zoning violations.

Code inspectors will be in the area, talking to residents, offering educational materials, issuing citations, and, if needed, addressing violations on the spot.
