Four NFL Teams Remain in the Hunt for a Super Bowl

LUBBOCK, TX — The stage is set for the NFL conference championship games, with four teams remaining in the hunt for Super Bowl glory.

In the NFC, the sixth-seeded Washington Commanders will travel to face the No. 2 Philadelphia Eagles in a division rivalry showdown. The Commanders punched their ticket to the title game with a stunning upset over the top-seeded Detroit Lions, led by rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. The Eagles secured their spot with a hard-fought victory over the Los Angeles Rams in snowy conditions. The two teams split their regular-season meetings, setting up a high-stakes tiebreaker for a trip to the Super Bowl.

In the AFC, the No. 1 Kansas City Chiefs will host the No. 2 Buffalo Bills in another chapter of the Patrick Mahomes vs. Josh Allen rivalry. The Bills advanced by defeating the Baltimore Ravens, while the Chiefs edged out the Houston Texans in a controversial finish. Many are against the Chiefs at this juncture and are convinced the Houston Texans never had a fair shot. However, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs continue to do nothing but win games on their journey for the NFL's first three-peat Super Bowl Champion.

This will mark the fourth time in five seasons that Kansas City and Buffalo have clashed in the playoffs and the second time they’ll compete for the AFC championship.
