Popular Taqueria to Open Second Location in South Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX — A local Mexican restaurant has officially announced the opening of its second location in a familiar spot in south Lubbock.

Known for its authentic Mexican dishes, Mi Tierra Taqueria announced on social media that it is opening its second location at the corner of 82nd Street and Indiana Avenue.

The building was previously home to Pizza Hut, which closed down, followed by Chop Chop, which had planned to open its third location there. However, Chop Chop later decided to close this location, along with its other spots, in Lubbock by the end of 2024.
