Silver Alert Issued for Missing 72-Year-Old in Hobbs

 

HOBBS, NM — A Silver Alert has been issued for a Hobbs man who was last seen on foot earlier this week.

According to the New Mexico State Police, Charles Yaws, 72,  was last seen around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 29, walking along North Eagle Drive in Hobbs.

Yaws is described as a 6-foot-tall man with gray hair, brown eyes, and weighing around 190 pounds. He was last wearing a maroon hat, a maroon jacket, and jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hobbs Police Department at 575-397-9265.
