Gas Line Repairs to Close 24th Street and Memphis Avenue

LUBBOCK, TX — Due to gas line repairs, the intersection of 24th Street and Memphis Avenue will be closed starting Sunday, February 2.

According to the City of Lubbock, the closure is expected to last about a week, weather permitting.

The City advises drivers to find alternate routes and plan ahead due to delays and heavier traffic in the area.

Drivers are reminded to stay focused and avoid distractions while driving near the construction zone.
