Coronado High School Hosts National Signing Day for 12 Future Collegiate Athletes

 

LUBBOCK, TX — Wednesday, February 5, marked National Signing Day for prospective student-athletes to decide what universities they would play for in the coming years. Lubbock Coronado High School hosted a signing ceremony for 12 student-athletes as they signed to play at the next level.

The 12 athletes that signed covered ten different sports, with two athletes committing as multi-sport athletes. Zanashia Harris signed with Incarnate Word to run both Cross Country and Track, while Isaiah Vazquez will play football and baseball at Nelson University.

This signing class featured multiple Division I commits, NAIA, and Division II. Coronado High School continues to produce student-athletes at a high level, and it is a testament to the hard work the coaches and staff at the school put in on a day-to-day basis.

Congratulations to all student-athletes who signed. Lubbock looks forward to what they do in the future.
