Buffalo Springs Lake to Reduce Admission Fees for 2025

LUBBOCK, TX — Buffalo Springs Lake has announced a reduction in gate admission fees for the first time in its history.

Effective now, the new prices are below:

  • Adults (12 & up): Reduced from $16 to $12
  • Children (6-11): Reduced from $6 to $5
  • Active Duty & Retired Veterans: Free admission (excluding dependents)
  • Half-Price Evening Admission: Visitors after 6:00 p.m. get 50% off the regular admission (this does not include boats, ATVs, or other extra fees).

According to a press release, this is the first time in the lake’s history that its admission prices have been lowered to make outdoor activities more accessible.

“We know times are tough with rising costs, so we wanted to help make outdoor fun more affordable for families and visitors,” said Shayna Kerby, Marketing Director.

“We’re especially excited to offer free admission to veterans as a thank you for their service.”

The new prices will encourage more people to visit the lake and enjoy camping, fishing, boating, and ATV trails.
