LUBBOCK, TX — The City of Lubbock Parks and Recreation Department will host its second annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza at Safety City in Clapp Park.
According to a press release, the free event will be on Saturday, April 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m..
The Egg-Stravaganza will begin at 10 a.m. with “Easterpups at Clapp Dog Park,” which will run until 1 p.m. This will feature dog-friendly activities, including an egg hunt, games, and contests with prizes for pets.
From 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Safety City will host an “All-ability Egg Hunt.” This hunt is welcoming for everyone so everyone has the chance to join in on the fun, says the release.
The “Bunny Stroll” will take place from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Visitors can enjoy a stroll through the park and take part in a scavenger hunt organized by local vendors and costumed bunnies.
An “All-ages Egg Hunt” will run from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Safety City. Everyone will have the opportunity to search for hidden eggs and win prizes.
The event will wrap up with the “Bunny Car Hop” from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Safety City parking lot. Cars will be lined up to help kids with the final activities and offer treats and prizes.
