Feds Arrest Texas Man Over Threats to Kill ICE Agents

MCKINNEY, TX — A man from Texas was arrested after allegedly threatening to shoot and kill ICE agents.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas, Robert Wilson King, 35, was charged on April 3 after making terroristic threats against ICE agents, Governor Greg Abbott, and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.

The criminal complaint states that on March 29, 2025, King posted a message on social media, saying, “If I see ICE agents in my neighborhood I’m opening fire. It’s time to stop being p****** and put the second amendment to work. ICE are not real cops, they are a secret police force with no real legal authority. Kill them.”

He later made another post where he said he wanted to "double down” on his threat to shoot and kill ICE agents.

The complaint, filed under case no. 3:25-mj-00324, details other instances of King's alleged violent statements made earlier this year.

The complaint, simply an allegation of criminal conduct, is not evidence of guilt. Like all defendants, King is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

He appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Renée Harris Toliver and was detained. King’s detention hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.

If convicted, he faces up to five years in federal prison.
