Early Morning Shooting Leaves One Seriously Injured

LUBBOCK, TX — The Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit is investigating a shooting that left one person seriously injured early Monday morning.

According to the Lubbock Police Department, officers were called to the scene at the 1800 block of Clovis Road at 2:08 a.m. on April 14 following reports of gunfire. When authorities arrived, they found one person injured.

The victim was transported to University Medical Center by EMS with serious injuries.

The investigation is ongoing, and no additional details have been released.
