The series against the Vaqueros continues an eight-game stretch against Top-40 RPI opponents for the Red Raiders, who will head to No. 16 West Virginia (No. 15 RPI) for a three-game Big 12 series this weekend.

Following the midweek games, Texas Tech enters a hectic closing stretch to the regular season, playing 14 games over the final 19 days. The schedule includes Big 12 series against West Virginia, UCF and BYU, as well as midweek matchups with New Mexico State, New Mexico, and Abilene Christian.
