Lubbock Splash Pads Reopen for the Season

 

LUBBOCK, TX—The City of Lubbock Parks and Recreation Department announced that it will open its three free splash pads on Friday, May 16, to kick off the summer.

Starting this Friday, May 16, through Sunday, May 18, the splash pads will be open during regular hours, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

For the following school week, Monday, May 19 to Thursday, May 22, hours will be shortened to 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The splash pads will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. starting Friday, May 23rd, the beginning of Memorial Day weekend, and continuing throughout the entire summer.

The three splash pads will be located at Rodgers Park on 3200 Bates Street, Maxey Park on 4020 30th Street, and Mae Simmons Park on 1301 East 24th Street.
